Located on the southernmost tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria has the best climate in Canada and offers visitors plenty of opportunities to enjoy it. Paddle a kayak or go rowing. Windsurf, sail, take a ferry, ride a bike, or go diving for a view of the Victoria’s underwater life. This provincial capital has lots of indoor activities too. Take a free tour of the parliament buildings or visit one of the many world-class museums. View the garden-lined streets, heritage homes and quaint shops from the comfort of a double-decker bus.

If shopping is more your bag, stroll along the causeway and take a look at what the local artists have to offer. Explore Canada’s oldest Chinatown or walk Antique Row. Visit Victoria’s historic old town, Market Square, where opium was once legal and "working girls" were referred to as tainted doves.

If you enjoy great food (and who doesn’t?) then Victoria is nirvana. High tea is a must. As is the seafood, the exceptional sushi and, of course, the search for the perfect plate of British fish and chips. Think of it as a pilgrimage so you’ll have an excuse to come back.
