Point-No-Point Resort is located on the southwest coast of Vancouver Island. It's about 64K west of Victoria via Highway 14, about 25K past the community of Sooke. Description: Picture yourself on a bright and windy West Coast day. You are standing at a trailhead that’s completely covered by an alder arbour. Although the trail is a wide and well-maintained path, its downward slope prevents you from seeing very far ahead. As you walk along you see other paths leading to the left and right, but you keep walking straight ahead and a few moments later, you suddenly find yourself in a clearing. The sun is blasting and the wind, buffeting; but what really takes your breath away is the view. You are standing on a jut of land with smashing ocean on both sides and a bridged islet before you. Seagulls cry overhead and seals pop their heads out of the surf to stare. All the stress, all the tension, and all the hustle bustle of modern day living is blown completely out of your mind--and this is all yours for the length of your stay. Point-No-Point Resort has accommodations to fulfill your needs without straining your pocket book. There are 26 cabins to choose from, each unique in their West Coast style and setting. What could be better than bringing your family to share a two-bedroom house with kitchen facilities, fireplace, sun deck and private hot tub? Thinking of something more romantic? Perhaps you would like a small self-contained cabin in a rustic setting with a fireplace, queen-size bed, and full kitchen facilities--all perched 100 feet above the dramatic Pacific Ocean. If you would like a break from cooking, the Teahouse is open for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. With indoor seating for 35, the dining area is surrounded on three sides by a breathtaking smorgasbord of sky, surf, and beaches. The thoughtful hosts even provide binoculars for their dining guests. If the view isn’t enough to satisfy, chef Chris Asher, will be sure to delight you with an array of delicacies from the reasonably priced menu. Whether you come for the afternoon, just for a meal, or stay a week, once you experience Point-No-Point Resort, you will come back again, and again. Written By: Cindy Faryon Map In This Category
