Description:
The Ocean Wilderness Inn and Spa Retreat offer guests a smorgasbord vista of trees, gardens, mountains and ocean views. Perched on a hill, this private hideaway on five acres of old growth rain forest, has all the charm and serenity of a historic hunting lodge, yet includes all the amenities visitors could ask for. With nine elegantly furnished suites to choose from, guests enjoy private baths, terry robes, box fridges and private entrances.

Wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee or tea, served at your door each morning on a beautiful silver service. Treat yourself to fresh baked goods accompanied by homemade preserves, farm fresh eggs, or other breakfast items, delivered to your room or enjoyed in the historic, log dining room. After breakfast, while away the morning beachcombing or hiking along the Juan De Fuca Marine Trail, and spend a leisurely afternoon lounging in the beautifully landscaped gardens. Picture yourself relaxing in the Rainforest Rejuvenation Spa with a mud and seaweed treatment or an herbal wrap followed by a massage. In the evening, unwind in the Japanese Gazebo hot tub and watch the moonlight tease the ocean or witness the invigorating drama of a west coast storm.

When you do come, bring a camera and binoculars. This area is populated by a variety of wildlife. Seals, soaking up the summer sun, often inhabit the private beach while Orcas and Grey whales can be seen frolicking off shore. Watch bald eagles fishing or drying their wings in the sun, and keep your eyes open for deer and raccoons. Then, after a hard day spent peacefully enjoying beautiful Vancouver Island, crawl under the down comforter on your spacious canopied bed and dream of tomorrow, with snorkeling, golfing, scuba diving, and so many other activities to look forward to.
