GuidesThe municipality of Esquimalt, located just west of Victoria, is known for two things-–its many beautiful parks and its navy base. You’ll get a unique view of the Inner Harbour when you walk the seawall that runs from Victoria, past historic homes and a tempting pub, to the heart of Esquimalt. Another place you won’t want to miss is Highrock (Cairn) Park. Its breathtaking panoramic views are awesome. Esquimalt Harbour is home to the Canadian Forces Base whose job it is to support the ships of the Canadian Pacific Fleet. You can tour the base and visit ships for free.
