Colwood has many significant historical landmarks within its boundaries. These include the Fort Rodd Hill National Historic Park, Fisgard Lighthouse (the oldest working lighthouse on the West Coast), and Hatley Castle at Royal Roads University. While you’re in the area, be sure to visit the Esquimalt Lagoon. It’s a great place to picnic, hang out on the beach, and just watch the birds fly by.
