The Wickaninnish Inn And Pointe Restaurant

Wick Road
Tofino , BC V0R 2Z0
(250) 726-7706

This Inn with world-class service, luxurious accommodations, renowned cuisine, and spectacular surroundings has more to offer the traveler than just a place to sleep. Perched on a rocky point and built to blend with the natural surroundings, this vacation destination is dynamic, diverse, dramatic and needs to be experienced at least once in a lifetime.

The 75-seat oceanfront "Pointe Restaurant" and "On the Rocks Bar", feature coastal foods and regional wines in a setting that can only be described as a Culinary Retreat. Chef Jim Garraway and the Restaurant Manager, Ike Seaman, have created a spectacular marriage of West Coast Cuisine, Vancouver Island farm-fresh ingredients, and the best of the best wines of the Pacific Northwest.

Imagine sampling award-winning dishes of culinary delights while surrounded on three sides by a panorama of sea and sky locked in the drama of a West Coast storm --complete with smashing waves and howling wind -- After dinner retire to your room, appetite sated, and slip into the soaker tub with aromatherapy bath salts. Then, stretch out in front of the fireplace in a thick terry towel bathrobe and sip brandy before sleeping in luxury.

The next day will dawn full of choices. What to do first--visit the "Ancient Cedars Spa", beach comb along the nearly two miles of sand and surf of Chesterman Beach, or whale watch out your Inn window for Pacific Grays, Humpbacks, and Orcas? You could take a boat or fly out to Hot Springs Cove for the day. Have the Inn pack you a lunch; take your camera, hiking shoes, towel and swimsuits. Soak in the hot pools and explore the waters where the hot springs mix with the cold seawater. Whatever you choose, the Wickaninnish Inn and Pointe Restaurant will help make it memorable.
